The original hotel dates back to the 1800s, when the textile mils were in full swing in Manayunk, in 1903. Permission was given to build a one level bar that promotes everything local, from locally supplied food to Pennsylvania's fine liquor, beers and wines, but still remain the bar in the true sense of one.
